Itinerary

Arrival in the evening at the airport or railway station in Delhi. Our IHPL representative will guide you to your reserved hotel. Stay for the night.

The second day of the tour is reserved for sightseeing in New Delhi. Today you will visit India Gate, President's House, Qutab Minar Complex, and Humayun's Tomb. Stay for the night.

After breakfast, you will take a tour of Old Delhi. It will cover famous attractions like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, etc. Make your lunch. Relax for a while. In the evening, enjoy shopping in the city's famous markets. Stay for the night.

In the morning, a punctual transfer to the Delhi airport to board the flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival, you will be transported by road to the Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation. This World Heritage site is home to 23rd of the population of the one-horned rhinos. Enjoy a tribal or Bihu dance performance in the evening. Dinner around the campfire. Night in the shelter.

In the morning, enjoy a nature walk and then a game drive in the park to spot animals such as the Indian muntjac, wild boar, hog deer, francolin, Bengal florican, and many more. In the evening, visit a tribal village and see silkworm farming. Dinner and accommodation at the lodge.

On the sixth day, enjoy an early morning elephant safari in the national park. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit a tea garden and a tea factory. Savor astonishing dishes over dinner in a tea garden bungalow. Overnight.

In the morning return to Guwahati airport to board the flight to Bagdogra. After reaching Bagdogra, you will be transported to Kalimpong by road. Kalimpong is a popular tourist attraction in North East India, mainly due to its picturesque landscape and pleasant temperature. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Chill out. Dinner and retreat to your rooms to spend the night.

After breakfast, free morning for recreational activities. In the afternoon, visit Kalimpong attractions which could include the Roman Catholic Church, Kalimpong Cactus Nursery, Deolo Hill, etc. Overnight.

On the ninth day of the tour, go rafting on the Teesta River early in the morning. After that, take the road to drive to the new Jalpaiguri railway station, Siliguri. Board an overnight train to Kolkata.

Arrive in Calcutta and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of the city of joy Kolkata. Night at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to Basanti Harbor to board a boat for the Sundarbans. After arriving in the Sundarbans, take a motorized cruise to Sajnekhali Bird Watching. Enjoy bird and wildlife watching aboard this dedicated launch where you may see egrets, herons, royal Bengal tigers; fishing cats, leopard cats, macaques, wild boars, Indian gray mongooses, foxes, jungle cats, etc. Spend a night in the varus.

A full-day cruise through the mangrove streams, watching for wildlife and birds. Lunch is on board. Arrive at Sajnekhali at sunset. In the evening, watch wildlife with tea and snacks at the Mangrove Interpretation Centre. Dinner and a night on the boat.

In the morning, enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride to the Rangabelia Tagore Society, where you will observe the rural development project. Back to Basanti Port in the afternoon. Get transported to Kolkata by car. Stay overnight in Kolkata.

Board a morning flight to Delhi. Spend the day at leisure, perhaps doing some last-minute shopping. Get transferred to the railway station or airport for your onward journey.
