Join the 13-day, 14-night Orissa Tribal Tour, which will allow you to observe the tribal way of life of various tribal peoples of Orissa. Itinerary

When you arrive in Delhi in the late afternoon, you'll be given assistance getting to your hotel reservation. Stay for the night.

After breakfast, a punctual transfer to the airport was made to board the flight to Bhubaneshwar. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel. The most significant temple in Bhubaneshwar is the Lingaraj Temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva's form Harihara. This should be done in the afternoon. Overnight.

After breakfast, depart for an excursion to Lalitgiri, Ratnagiri, and Udayagiri. These three locations are significant Buddhist religious sites and are home to renowned ancient Buddhist monasteries. Return to Bhubaneshwar overnight.

The morning after breakfast, start driving to Baliguda. Along the way, visit semi-tribal villages and tribal towns. Here, you can observe the way of life of the tribal people of the region. Upon arrival, check into your hotel for the night.

In the morning, after having breakfast, start your journey towards the Belghar area (220 km). Here you will visit Kuttiya Kondh village and Rasul Kondh village. These tribes were previously known for their human sacrifices to please their Lord. (NOTE: if it's Tuesday, shop for handicrafts at Kothgarh's weekly market.) Continue to Rayagada. Rayagada is at night.

After breakfast in the morning, you will enjoy an excursion to Onukudelli, where you will visit the Bonda and Gadhaba tribal markets (note: the weekly market is on Thursdays). Next, you will visit the tribal villages of Gadhaba. It will be an interesting activity to observe their way of life. Return to Jeypore overnight.

On day 8, after breakfast, a day tour is booked to the Gupteswar temples, which are mainly caves dedicated to Lord Shiva. Next, you will visit the tribal village of Dhuraba. One of the most interesting things about the males of this tribe is that they like to wear ornaments. Overnight in Jeypore.

In the morning, after having breakfast, you will drive towards Taptapani (300 km). On the way, you will visit the Jagannath Temple, which was built in 1972 and has similar activities as the main Puri temple. Also visit the Tribal Museum, Koraput, which houses a collection of images and metalwork, stone sculpture, jewelry, terracotta and woodwork, and textiles. Once you reach Taptapani, check into the hotel for the night.

Have breakfast on day 10 and visit the Tibetan village of Chandragiri (home to Tibetan refugees). After that, continue to Puri (350 km), and on the way, enjoy a boat ride on Chilka Lake, famous as the largest saltwater lake in Asia. Once you arrive, check into your booked hotel for the night.

Have an early breakfast, and go on an excursion to Konark (100 km). Here your first visit will be to the famous Konark Sun Temple, also known as the Black Pagoda, built in the 13th century. Then you will visit a fishing village. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit the artisan`s village in Raghurajpur. The evening is booked for darshan at the Jagannath temple. Overnight in Puri.

Day 12, after breakfast, is at leisure. Relax and enjoy fun beach activities. You can also go to Puri's market if you want. Stay overnight.

After breakfast, take a timely transfer to Trivandrum Airport to catch a flight to Delhi. When you arrive in Delhi, check into one of the hotels on the list. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can shop in Delhi's popular markets if you want. Stay overnight.

After breakfast, the day is booked for sightseeing. The tourist attractions will include India Gate and Parliament House. After lunch, visit the Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Gandhi Memorial in Old Delhi. In the evening, get transferred to the airport or railway station to board a flight or train for your onward journey.
