Itinerary

Upon arrival at Bangalore airport, meet our representative, who will be there to welcome you, and then transfer to Kukke Subrahmanya by road. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel and rest for a while. Then get ready to visit the main temple of Subrahmanya. Next, we will visit the Adi Subrahmanya temple. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation in the late afternoon.

A dense, lush forest surrounds Kukke Subrahmanya, a well-known holy site close to the hills. Located on the bank of the Kumaradhara river, the main temple of Subrahmanya is located in Kukke. It is dedicated to Lord Subrahmanya and the serpent god Vasuki. This temple is known for religious rituals related to the snake god.

In the morning, after breakfast, we will check out of the hotel at Kukke Subrahmanya and drive to Mangalore. On the way, we will stop at Dharmasthala, which is about 60 km away and is counted among the famous Hindu pilgrimage centers. Here we will explore the Manjunathaswamy Temple, one of the main attractions of Dharmasthala. Next, we will visit Ratnagiri to explore the statue of Bhagawan Bahubali, or Gommateshwara, and Sri Rama Kshetra, located on the bank of the Nethravathi river. The well-known town of Dharmasthala is located in the Dakshina Kannada district of the Indian state of Karnataka, in the Belthangadi taluk, along the Nethravathi River. The shrines of Shiva, Ammanavaru, Manjunatha, Chandranath, and the Dharma Daivas (Dharma guardian spirits), namely Kalarkayi, Kalarahu, Kanyakumari, and Kumaraswamy, are all located in the Dharmasthala temple, which is where the location gets its name. Mangalore, also known as Mangaluru, is the main port city of Karnataka. It is known as Kudla in Tulu, Maikala in Beary Bashe, Kodial in Konkani, and Mangalapuram in Malayalam. It is located about 371 km west of the state capital, Bangalore, between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghat ranges.

Udupi is a city located in the southwest of Karnataka. It is the district headquarters of Udupi and is popular for the Krishna temple. He is also known as Lord Parasurama Kshetra and is famous for Kanakana Kindi. Other major attractions in Udupi are Shivalli (Shivabelli) and Rajata Peetha, which are popular pilgrimage centers.

Today we will start our day a little early in the morning and pay a visit to the Udupi Krishna Temple, a famous Sri Krishna temple in the area. Also, we will visit Chandramouleshwara and Anantheshwara temples. In the end, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. After finishing the breakfast served at the hotel, we will check out and head towards Murudeshwara, which is about 103 kilometers away. On the way, we will visit the Anegudde Vinayaka temple.

Murudeshwara is a city located on the coast of the Arabian Sea. It is famous for its beach and temple, which attract visitors from all over the world. Murudeshwara has the second-tallest Shiva statue in the world. It is also known for its 20-story Gopura, which measures around 237.5 feet and is built into the temple.

After that, we will drive to Gokarna, which is about 78 kilometers from the city. On the way, we will visit the famous Ganapathi temple at Idagunji. Once you arrive in Gokarna, check into your hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

After a morning swim, we will visit one of the famous temples in Gokarna, i.e., Mahabaleshwara Temple, which is a holy pilgrimage site among devout Hindus. We will also visit the Ganapathi Temple and the Tamra Gowri Temple. Later, we will return to the hotel to have breakfast. After breakfast, we will leave to visit Sirsi, which is about 84 km away. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. After a rest, we will visit Sahasralinga, which is about 17 kilometers away. It is a beautiful place in the Western Ghats where hundreds of Lingas are carved in stone on the Shalmala River in North Canara. If we have time available, we will also visit the Sri Madhukeshwara or Sonda Vadiraja Mutt temple in Banavasi.

In the afternoon, we will visit the temple of the goddess Marikamba in Sirsi, which was built in the 16th century. It is listed as one of the top attractions in Sirsi and a major place of worship in Karnataka. The temple houses a large idol of the goddess that is about two meters high. Next, we will visit the Shri Gopalakrishna temple and the Maha Ganapathi temple, located near the Marikamba temple. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Sirsi.

In the morning, after breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and drive towards Jog Falls, which is about 63 km away and is counted as one of the top tourist spots in Karnataka, known for its abundant natural beauty. It is the second-highest waterfall in India and is also called Jogada Gundi and Gersoppa Falls.

After that, we will drive to our next destination, i.e., Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple, which is located near the Sharavathi River. The fact that this temple is surrounded by vegetation on all sides makes it stand out on its own. It is the temple of the goddess that is evident and very powerful.

After that, we will proceed to our final destination of the day, i.e., Kollur, which is around 48 km away. It is located at the foothills of the Western Ghats and is known to house an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Mookambika. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and visit the famous Mookambika Temple. According to legend, Shri Adi Shankaracharya deified the goddess' panchaloha image in Shri Chakra. After breakfast in the morning, we will check out of the hotel and drive towards Sringeri, which is about 110 km away. Along the way, one can enjoy capturing the panoramic views of Agumbe Ghat. At Sringeri, we will explore its two beautiful temples, including the Vidya Shankara temple and the Sri Sharadamba temple. After that, we will drive to Horanadu, which is about 80 kilometers away. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Horanadu.

Sringeri is located on the banks of the Tunga River. It is one of the top attractions in Sringeri and is where Adi Shankaracharya established the first shelter for stray dogs. Numerous Hindu devotees from all over the nation and the world visit the two historic temples, Sri Sharadamba Temple and Vidya Shankara Temple, which are located in the area. Of the two temples, the Vidyashankara temple is an architectural marvel.

Horanadu is a place of fascinating natural scenery in the Chikmagalur district. On the last day, we will have breakfast in the morning and leave Horanadu to reach Bangalore, which is about 320 km away. On the way, we will visit the Kalaseshwara temple in Kalasa. Upon arrival in Bangalore, transfer to the airport or railroad station for the flight or board the train for further travel.
